DEL RIO - Ladder is the citizen who represents, serves and helps the members of his community and those are the characteristics of Mr. Polo Del Rio, who was awarded at the dinner organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Del Rio on March 7 of 2019 in the Red Oak room of the civic center where Mrs. Alejandra Hernandez, who on behalf of the veterans organization gave her a flag.
In the speech, she said. “It was a true honor to present this folded flag at the Del Rio Chamber of commerce Banquet, to Polo on behalf of all the Veterans from our community and surrounding areas. He has selflessly accommodated numerous brothers and sisters in arms in many ways and continues helping.
“This flag that I am presenting to you today is not an ordinary flag. This folded flag is presented to those that have retired from military service and bestowed upon a grieving widow or firstborn. This folded flag represents the honor courage and duty that a service member has sacrificed for this country and with that honor I would like to present to you this flag, that represents all those that have fought so hard to keep our country Free. Thanks Polo Del Rio on behalf of our veterans, you are very appreciated for all your support.”

DEL RIO – Líder es el ciudadano que representa, sirve y ayuda a los miembros de su comunidad y esas son las características del señor Polo Del Rio, quien fue galardonado en la cena organizada por la Cámara de comercio de Del Rio el día 7 de marzo de 2019 en el salón Red Oak del centro cívico donde la señora Alejandra Hernandez, quien en nombre de la organización de veteranos le hizo entrega de una bandera.
En el discurso, ella dijo. “Fue un verdadero honor presentarle a Polo en nombre de todos los veteranos de nuestra comunidad y áreas aledañas esta bandera doblada en el banquete de la cámara de comercio de Del Rio. Él ha acomodado desinteresadamente a numerosos hermanos y hermanas en armas de muchas maneras y continúa ayudando”.
“Esta bandera que le presento hoy no es una bandera ordinaria. Esta bandera doblada es presentada a aquellos que se han retirado del servicio militar y otorgado a una viuda o primogénito en duelo. Esta bandera doblada representa el honor, el valor y el deber que un miembro del servicio ha sacrificado por este país y con ese honor me gustaría presentarle esta bandera, que representa a todos aquellos que han luchado tanto para mantener a nuestro país libre. Gracias Polo Del Rio en nombre de nuestros veteranos, eres muy apreciado por todo tu apoyo".
