Nirce Gómez representative of cultural affairs of the consulate of Mexico in Del Rio Texas in a recent interview she commented. "I was invited to be part of Artes del Río Firehouse Del Rio Council; the council's responsibility is to promote art and culture and get people to fall in love, participate and support our events."
Adrián Falcon, founder and owner of Falcon Gallery who is also a member of the Firehouse River Arts Council Del Rio Council for the Arts Firehouse, said. "The Council of the Arts of the River was founded in 1977, this organization supports the diversity of art and culture exhibiting in its gallery the art and paintings of national and international artists.
For 12 years I’ve been a member of the committee in the beginning I was the only committee member. Now we are two, Greg Germany and I. Joni Tooke is the president, she has created programs that she shares with the schools. Many students are participating taking classes of painting, music, dance and other activities. Nirce and I are working on promoting cultures to enrich children culturally but also parents and the community by inviting them to support the gallery and their children who will be the future artists of the community".

Nirce Gómez representante de asuntos culturales del consulado de México en Del Rio Texas en reciente entrevista ella comentó. “Fui invitada para formar parte de Artes del Río Firehouse Del Rio Council, la responsabilidad del concilio es promover el arte y la cultura y que la gente se enamore de esto y que por igual participe y apoye los eventos que realicemos”.
Adrián Falcon, fundador y propietario de galería Falcon quien también es miembro del Consejo de las Artes del Río Firehouse Del Rio Council for the Arts Firehouse, dijo. “El consejo de las Artes del Río se fundó en 1977, esta organización apoya la diversidad del arte y cultura exhibiendo en su galería el arte y pinturas de artistas nacionales e internacionales.
Desde hace 12 años yo soy miembro del comité a ese tiempo yo fui el único artista del comité ahora somos dos, Greg Germany y yo, Joni Tooke es la presidenta, ella ha creado programas que comparte con las escuelas y muchos estudiantes están participando tomando clases de pintura, música, danza y otras actividades, así que Nirce y yo estamos trabajando en promover las culturas para enriquecer culturalmente a los niños pero también a los padres y a la comunidad invitándolos a que apoyen la galería y a sus hijos que serán los futuros artistas de la comunidad”.
