Con la finalidad de promover la herencia hispana y mostrar lo que Del Río tiene para ofrecer al turismo, la Cámara de Comercio Hispana de Del Río llevará a cabo su primer evento anual denominado Amistad Music Fest, un evento gratuito que se celebrará a la orilla del Arroyo San Felipe.
Isidro Valdez, presidente de la Cámara de Comercio Hispana, dio a conocer que éste festival lo tienen programado para llevarse a cabo este próximo 15 de octubre arrancando a las 2:00 p.m.
El programa se desarrollará en el Anfiteatro Dr. Alfredo Gutiérrez, será gratuito para la comunidad y para el turismo que esté de visita en esta frontera. El evento contará con la participación de cinco grupos musicales, algunos locales y otros del interior del estado.
Este festival será parte de las celebraciones de las Fiestas de la Amistad, las cuales se han llevado a cabo durante 61 años consecutivos, y ahora el turismo tendrá una actividad más para disfrutar durante el mes de octubre.
Con el Amistad Music Fest se busca promover a esta frontera y atraer turismo y así ayudar al comercio local, también será una oportunidad para que la comunidad pueda convivir en un evento totalmente familiar, el cual solo con la ayuda de todos llegará a ser un éxito y que se lleve a cabo todos los años.
La mesa directiva de la Cámara de Comercio Hispana desde Del Rio hace la cordial invitación a este festival musical gratuito qué se llevará a cabo el 15 de octubre en el anfiteatro Dr. Alfredo Gutiérrez, dónde podrán disfrutar de música en vivo, presentaciones de mariachis, venta de comida y actividades para toda la familia.
Las agrupaciones participantes en este festival musical incluyen al Mariachi Campanas de América, Ram Herrera, Grupo Yahari, Los Garcia Brothers y Alto Voltaje.

In order to share the Hispanic heritage and showcase what Del Rio has to offer for locals and potential visitors, the Del Rio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its first annual Amistad Music Fest, a free event to be held along the San Felipe Creek.
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce President Isidro Valdez, said this fest is scheduled for October 15, starting at 2:00 p.m.
The program will unfold at the Dr. Alfredo Gutiérrez Amphitheater, it will be free and open to the community and visitors. The fest will feature five bands, some local and others from across Texas.
This festival will be part of the celebrations of the Fiestas de la Amistad, which have been held for 61 consecutive years, and now tourism will have one more activity to enjoy in October.
Amistad Music Fest represents for the Hispanic chamber an opportunity to bring in visitors and help local businesses, it will also be an opportunity for the community to enjoy a totally family friendly event, which is expected to become a huge success with the participation of the community, and become an annual tradition.
